About this Role:

The Revenue Strategy team plays a critical role in shaping Kinetic’s acquisition strategy and priorities across marketing and sales. The team’s responsibilities include setting Kinetic’s acquisition priorities, developing growth forecasts, and understanding growth drivers.

The Sr. Consultant - Strategy will be responsible for measuring and monitoring post-sale transactions throughout the work-in-progress (WIP) funnel until they are installed. What You’ll Do:

  • Develop methods for reporting, projecting, and forecasting WIP.

  • Leverage both structured and unstructured datasets around WIP to develop further insights into orders in WIP.

  • Create hierarchies of order progress and status traits to push meaningful analysis across the varying levels of the organization: from those responsible for acting on orders, to management, and up to executives.

  • Develop models for projecting WIP in the short-term: next X days, weeks, remainder of month, or even quarter with inputs from sales activity and projections, historical run-rates of installations, and cancel rates.

  • Take learnings from shorter-term projections and apply it to long-term forecasting for WIP, with same inputs from sales and then forecasting outcomes of orders in WIP.

  • Uncover findings on cancelled orders in WIP and work with owners to drive improvements .

  • Partner with operations (service delivery) team on understanding order flows and enable insights as to troublesome milestones, queues, or teams/owners.

  • Determine deeper understanding into the reasons why customers cancel Kinetic orders prior to install date.

  • Provide empirical evidence to support decision points around policy or operational changes that could improve customer experiences, business efficiencies, or both.

  • Align pre-install cancels with broader unit model to ensure that our forecasts are inclusive of what transpires between sale and install.

  • Shape the narrative around executive reporting.

  • Using the partnership forged with the operations team, develop executive-level summaries of status, insights, and initiative updates.

  • Create views that align with executive understanding of WIP and pre-install cancels, while simultaneously pushing forward innovation of how we manage and evaluate the business.

  • Own creation of presentations around this scope of work using appropriate levels of detail (visualizations to summarize, tables/numbers to teach and provide confidence in findings)
